Pushti - My daughter's name PUSHTI is finalised by her mamu, Saurabh... "Pushti" means nourishment and growth. actually , in our family , its a tradition to have the first letter of the name to be found out from kundli by pujariji... then we can select the name starting from that leter..... so we got the letter for her was "pu" ,left with very less choice about name selection... my brother and her wife searched a lot for a name starting with "pu", but nothing was much catching. we had two options as "pushpita" or "pushti"... i was in favour of "pushpita" coz of its beautiful meaning "bouquet of flowers"... but then it seemed that pushpita sounds very long and old ... so finally after 2 months "pushti" was finalised.... a very intersting fact is that we got her birth certificate from MCF , but we left the name column blank coz name was not decided yet and i wanted to have single name for documents as well as speaking name... afterwards her BC is updated with the name.

Aadhya - My daughter's name is AADHYA. It means the first n the foremost power n it is also one of the names of godess Lakshmi.

Actually there r a lot of co-incidences which go along with her name.

1 . Name was suggested by my brother 3 months prior to her birth. N 
incidentally she was born 4 days prior to Diwali Lakshmi pooja. n her 
name is one of the names of godess lakshmi.

2. this was our recent find out. My name is priya n my hubby's name is 
Anand. N our daughter is Aadhya, her name begins with Aa of Anand 
n the end of my name ya, priya

Maghathi -We really had a tough time in selecting our baby's name..As my hubby was abroad that time when Maghathi was born, we cudnt discuss as there was time difference !!! As per our tradition we shud give 3 names for the baby. so one will be my MIL's name.we started to search for rest of the two names..
Previously we discussed as if the baby is gal then we shud name her the Starting letter "S" of my hubby's name and if the baby is boy then we shud name him with the letter "M" which is the starting letter of my name..But it became wise versa when we started to hunt for names for our baby gal !!!
Finally we all liked the name "Maghathi and Manasa" meaning "Goddess of Studies" and raga name respectively..Maghathi is her record name...
While searching i came thru a fantacy name "Gullu" meaning flower ..So thats how we call her now @ home!
Thus how my baby has got 4 names !!!

Khushi - Hi I have a Daughter who is almost 4 Now. We did a lot of research But , in the end as soon as our daughter was born .. my hubby was so happy he named het KHUSHI there n then.. SO thats our story .
